When Celebrity Obsession Gets Too Far!

When Celebrity Obsession Gets Too Far!

By Ellie Lewis

Whether you look upon past events or current news in entertainment industry, you will come across countless celebrity obsession stories. One such story is about a boy who is asking everyone to leave Britney alone. The story came forth after a famous video. A woman narrates to be working in her modular home when she saw a boy crying out loud in front of custom modular homes. Obviously, there were spectators around who were all in shock. This is where celebrity obsession has gone too far off limits.

The boy was crying violently by screaming and pulling his hair, asking aimlessly to let go off his superstar. It is known to last only for a few minutes but the impression it casted will probably last forever. Well, this is just one example where celebrity worship has gone too far. There is virtually nothing wrong in idolizing famous celebs or style icons but it should only be limited to a hobby.

It is understandable why people like singers, actors or other leading names from entertainment industry. Their work is certainly the reason behind their fame. However, being obsessed with them is yet another thing. This is where the celebrity idolization gets a bit scary. Many people just dedicate their lives to famous celebrities. Emanation and idolization to some extent is fine but these crazy fans resort to weird things for catching their attention.

You will find celebrity psycho stalkers almost everywhere. They are literally a common site. There is no shortage of people who are arrested for doing some crazy stuff. At times, they even break laws. The idea of these maniacs around you can be scary, simply because they are unpredictable. Actually, they do not mean any harm, but you are vulnerable in their presence.

Besides being a danger signal for others, they tend to be a bigger threat for themselves. You will come across stories of die-hard fans who even took their lives for their famous stars. Some star worshippers are crazy in keeping tabs on famous celebs. For instance if you collect your favorite star’s movies, you are normal but when you start collecting his/her trash, you need serious help.

The condition from here on can only get disastrous. What these crazy fans need to understand is that these famous people are just like normal humans. The things that make them appear cool are fame and money. Apparently, their lifestyle seems amazing and everybody fancies living like that.

Having obsession with somebody merely because he/she is rich seems ridiculous. And when it reaches these proportions, the society needs to have a reality check. No matter how good they perform, they are still humans. Extreme obsession can be toxic to the very core. You should focus spending your own life rather than bugging on others.

Nonetheless, there is an obvious upsurge in the number of crazy fans. This can be proven by the sales of celebrity gossip and entertainment magazines. However, you alone can know when you have gone too far with your celeb obsession. Keep it in check or you will be considered a psycho.
