Not so long ago, Mena Suvari and Simone Sestito have been considered as one of the hottest Hollywood couples despite the 7 age gap difference. Today, January 13, according to TMZ, the 32-year-old actress filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Mena Suvari is trying to prevent her husband from getting spousal support and also wants to ditch his last name.
Mena Suvari and the 25-year-old concert producer Simone Sestito first met at the 2007 Toronto Film Festival where Mena promoted her movie “Stuck”. The couple got engaged in 2008 and wed at a private church in Vatican City, Italy in June 2010. Mena and Simone were reported to split up on November 1, 2011 after 18-year marriage.
