Rihanna is game for a laugh as she parades her pins courtside at LA Lakers match .

Something was amusing Rihanna at the basketball tonight - and apparently it wasn't the action on court.
The 23-year-old star looked a little distracted as she took the front row at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles where she was seen laughing away with a female friend.

The We Found Love singer looked great in a pair of Daisy Duke-style denim shorts which she teamed with a pair of beige Christian Louboutin heels with gold toe caps.

he completed her All-American outfit with a beige top emblazoned with the Star Spangled Banner as she sat courtside at the match, which saw the Lakers beat the Memphis Grizzlies 90-82.

Her outfit perfectly complimented her toned, shapely legs as she perched herself on one of the expensive front row seats. Rihanna looked like she was having a great time at the game, working her way through a large popcorn and a beer or two as well.

She smiled throughout and was obviously engrossed in at least some of the action, putting her hand up and chanting with her friend at one point.
Rihanna was in great spirits, perhaps spurred on by the fact she has just been announced as the biggest selling digital artist of all time. The Barbados singer has moved nearly 50 million digital downloads, according to Nielsen Soundscan.

What's going on here then? The singer is distracted by a few of her neighbours in the front row

That's more than any other artist in history and five million more than second best sellers, The Black Eyed Peas.Since her début album Music of the Sun was released in 2005, Rihanna has moved a total of 47.5 million digital tracks. In 2011 alone, the You Da One singer sold 13.9 million digital copies.

More beers: Rihanna and her friend keep themselves buoyant and refreshed during the game

Regardless of how well her songs perform on iTunes and other download websites, Rihanna’s fans are generally not interested in buying her actual CDs.

Her top-selling disc, Good Girl Gone Bad, which included the mega-hit Umbrella, has sold only 2.7 million copies in the U.S. to date. And none of her other albums has surpassed the two million mark.
