Robert Pattinson Shows off New Hair at 2012 People’s Choice Awards (Pictures)

Robert Pattinson is always a crowd heartthrob and winning awards isn't anything new to him, especially after his appearance in the "Twilight" franchise. However, on Wednesday night, January 11, the actor surprised fans as he took to the stage of the 2012 People’s Choice Awards receiving a trophy for his movie “Water for Elephants” due to his new shocking ‘do.

Early on in the ceremony, Robert Pattinson made his way to the stage to receive the Favorite Movie Actor trophy as well as the Favorite Drama Movie Award for “Water for Elephants”. The 25-year-old British actor had to complete for his individual trophy against many big stars, from Daniel Radcliffe, Hugh Jackman to Johnny Depp and Ryan Reynolds.

Pattinson is beloved for his smokin'-hot hair as he first stared Edward Cullen in the 2008 premiere of “Twilight”. And the huge applause from the audience when he appeared on the stage of the event shows that people love him with or without his shaggy, long locks.

The “Remember Me” stud showed off his shaved head during the ceremony held at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Pattinson has his new hairstyle for the role in his forthcoming movie “Cosmopolis.”

Although Robert Pattinson talked about his proud feelings of his movie “Water For Elephants,” which won the title of the Favorite Drama Movie, it seemed that all eyes were on his buzz cut. These pictures as following may be what you are expecting to see:
